Researcher

The researcher focuses on projects related to online research about access, the digital divide, privacy, or defamation.

Example project: Document real-life Internet access conditions in schools and libraries and offer assistance in handling blocking technology requirements and educating for effective Internet use.

Research will entail locating media, public policy, and academic articles and reports about these issues as well as researching programs or institutions that address such concerns. Along with compiling all these materials for our website, the researcher will provide the Editor with information and insight for the policy reports as well as providing information for the Community Outreach Organizers that might be relevant for action alerts.

Experience with word processing, email, web browsing, and spreadsheet applications required and statistical packages such as SPSS preferred.

Please fill out a form to apply as a volunteer or intern.

Thanks for your interest!
