Editor

The Editor prepares newsletters and brochures, drafts reports on policy issues related to defamation, access, the digital divide, and censorship, and adds items to the OPG website as needed.

The Editor writes reports based on information gathered from our online research and other projects such as the Schools and Libraries Project. The intended audience of the reports are for the general public, the OPG community, other nonprofit organizations, and governmental officials and institutions. The Editor works closely with researchers to draft the reports.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in policy-oriented writing, will give significant exposure to the relationship between technology and socio-cultural policy, and offers an opportunity to shape the direction of Internet policy and the online experience of various constituents.

Please email to volunteer at volunteer@onlinepolicy.org or to apply for an internship at intern@onlinepolicy.org

Thanks for your interest!
