Anyone who does not like the filtering afforded by the Symantec I-Gear filtering
system may simply reset the proxy settings in their web browser to halt
function of the filtering software.
For example, users may access the browser proxy settings in a recent
version of Netscape Communicator by selecting the Preferences item
on the Edit menu.
Then, expand the Advanced category and choose Proxies.

Remove the filtering software proxy setting by
selecting
Direct connection to the Internet
.
Alternatively, click on the View button and remove or reset the
HTTP and other manual proxy settings that appear.
