Join / Donate to the Online Policy Group
The Online Policy Group depends on members and donors to provide
the support necessary to make these important online policy
projects possible. Growth in the free services we provide means we have to
raise more funds to make it all possible.
For specific reasons to contribute your support, see the
fundraising appeal.
The Online Policy Group is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3)
organization in the United States which may accept contributions
tax-deductible to the full extent of applicable law.
OPG provides an acknowledgment and
tax receipt for all donations over US$250 as required
by the IRS, or for smaller donations if you provide us with
an email address at the time you contribute or if you
request a receipt delivered by snail mail.
Please give so we can get that thermometer off the

Help support OPG by donating goods to the Community Thrift Store in San Francisco. The Community Thrift Store, founded by the San Francisco Tavern Guild Foundation in 1982, helps support local charitable organizations through sale of donated items. This fall OPG became Community Thrift partner (#59) making supporting us easier than ever!
When donating items to Community Thrift, you provide the community with an opportunity to purchase the items while designating OPG as the recipient of funds for items sold by Community Thrift.
The Community Thrift Store is open seven days a week from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Located at 623 Valencia St (between 17th & 18th) in San Francisco, Community Thrift's drop off location is on Sycamore alley (between 17th and 18th). When donating items make sure to enter Sycamore Alley from Mission Street, as it is one way.
